Seafair is a sought-after residential neighbourhood in west Richmond bordering the West Dyke Trail and the Sturgeon Banks foreshore.

Location & boundaries

It is bounded roughly by Blundell Road to the north, No. 1 Road to the east and Williams Road to the south, with the West Dyke along its western edge. Terra Nova and Riverdale lie to the north and east, and Woodwards to the southeast.

History

The neighbourhood was developed largely during the 1960s housing boom and includes distinct pockets such as the 'Monds' and 'Mores,' where clusters of street names share endings.

It is a peaceful, family-oriented area of wide boulevards and cul-de-sacs near the waterfront.
