Willoughby is Langley's fast-growing central community and one of the busiest development areas in the Fraser Valley, built out over the past two decades with newer, denser housing. It contains the Township's municipal hall and several planned sub-neighbourhoods.

Location & boundaries

It occupies the central Township between the City of Langley and Walnut Grove, generally around 200 to 216 Streets and 72 to 88 Avenue, straddling the Highway 1 and 200 Street corridor.

History

Growth accelerated under the Willoughby Community Plan, which was consolidated and updated in a version adopted in 2026.

The community is young, family-oriented and rapidly growing, with new shopping and amenities.
