The West End is a primarily residential neighbourhood in western New Westminster near the Burnaby border and the 22nd Street SkyTrain station.

Location & boundaries

It is bordered by the commercial strips of Twelfth and Twentieth Streets and the commuter routes of Sixth and Tenth Avenues. Moody Park lies to the east.

History

The area filled in as a residential district in the early 20th century; Grimston Park was set aside in 1937 as the West End grew more populated.
