Neighbourhood guide

Living in Lynn Creek

Lynn Creek is one of the District of North Vancouver's designated town centres, a fast-growing mixed-use area at the north end of the Second Narrows Bridge.

Location & boundaries

It lies between Lynn Creek and the Seymour River near the Ironworkers Memorial Bridge, overlapping the older Lynnmour residential area; the name Seylynn refers to the tower-and-park community within it.

History

Long a light-industrial and residential pocket, the area was designated one of four town centres in the District's Official Community Plan and is being redeveloped with mid- and high-rise housing, including the Seylynn Village towers, plus a planned community centre and public plaza.

Lifestyle

It is transitioning into a denser, transit-oriented residential and commercial hub.

Housing & property types

New high-rise and mixed-use residential buildings are rising alongside older housing stock.

Parks & recreation

Seylynn Park anchors the town centre, with Inter River Park and the Lower Seymour Conservation Reserve trails nearby.

Schools

Served by the North Vancouver School District (SD44).

Getting around

It sits beside Phibbs Exchange, a major bus interchange served by the R2 Marine Drive RapidBus, with direct access to Highway 1 and the Second Narrows crossing.

Who it may suit

May suit buyers wanting newer transit-oriented apartments near highway access.
