Living in Clayton Heights

Clayton Heights is a modern, master-planned community in the northeast of Surrey's Cloverdale area, developed largely from around 2000 on former farmland. It is a higher-density, pedestrian-friendly area of townhomes, coach homes and detached houses.

Location & boundaries

In the north part of the Cloverdale town centre, between Cloverdale to the south and the City of Langley to the east.

History

The neighbourhood is a relatively new addition, with development beginning around 2000 on former farmland within the historic Clover Valley/Cloverdale district.

Housing & property types

A mix of townhomes, condominiums, coach homes and detached houses, generally denser than surrounding areas.

Schools

Served by School District 36 (Surrey Schools); Clayton Heights Secondary opened in 1999, and École Salish Secondary also serves the area.

Getting around

The Fraser Highway corridor runs through the area; the Surrey-Langley SkyTrain extension is under construction along Fraser Highway, with future stations planned to serve the Clayton/Cloverdale area.
