Auburn Bay is a southeast Calgary lake community centred on a private man-made lake with a beach and boat access.

Location & boundaries

It sits in southeast Calgary, bounded by Seton Boulevard to the south, Deerfoot Trail to the west, 52 Street SE to the east and Stoney Trail to the north. It neighbours Cranston, Mahogany, Copperfield and McKenzie Towne.

History

The community was established in 2005 and built out through the 2000s and 2010s.

Lifestyle

It is a family-oriented suburb where residents have private lake access for swimming, paddling and winter skating, alongside numerous playgrounds and sports fields.

Housing is mainly single-family detached homes, with townhomes, condominiums and apartments.

Parks & recreation

The community's lake, ponds, beach and off-leash dog park anchor recreation, together with playgrounds, ball diamonds, soccer fields and multi-use pathways.
