Mahogany is a southeast Calgary lake community centred on a large man-made lake, with sandy beaches and an extensive naturalized wetland.

Location & boundaries

It sits in southeast Calgary, bounded by 52 Street SE and Auburn Bay to the west and Stoney Trail to the north, with the Seton district to the north and west. It neighbours Copperfield and Cranston.

History

It was approved for development in 2007 and built by Hopewell Residential, with sales beginning in 2008.

Lifestyle

It is a family-oriented lake community whose residents have private beach and lake access year-round, plus wetland pathways.
