Signal Hill is an established hillside community in southwest Calgary with sweeping views, large shopping centres and a historic hillside landmark. It is a settled residential area on elevated terrain.

Location & boundaries

It sits in the southwest, bounded by Sarcee Trail to the east, 17th Avenue SW to the north, Stoney Trail to the south and 69th Street SW to the west, and it includes the Sienna Hills and Signal Ridge areas near Westgate, Glendale and Springbank Hill.

History

The land was annexed to Calgary in 1956 and the community was established in the mid-1980s.
